About Surf Spot
For many years Chef/Owner Derek Burns nurtured his idea of creating a restaurant unique to the Northern California coastal town of Pacifica, where people could hang out, eat great food, and celebrate the adventurous outdoor spirit that is so much a part of life in Northern California. With partners David Szeto and Tait Cowan, his dream was realized and the Surf Spot restaurant was born.

The Way We Look At It
Fine dining can be relaxed and fun, too! Our unique space boasts a fun-and-funky beach vibe along with our indoor and outdoor dining, fire pits, rolling lawns, a volleyball court, live music and private party spaces. Join us in celebrating the great Northern California outdoors adventure.
We also believe in giving back to our community. Currently we are holding monthly fundraisers for local Pacifica schools.
